DVD Review: Journey to the Center of the Earth

Here we go again another family-friendly action adventure film starring Brendan Fraser. Based on the classic book by Jules Verne, Fraser stars as Trevor Anderson a struggling professor that recently lost his brother. He is asked to watch his thirteen year old nephew for a bit and the two find notes in his father's favorite book that could lead to a discovery that life does exist at the center of the earth.

The movie is filled with fill-in the line quips and predictable acting, but provides fun action that is adequate for the whole family. Brendan Fraser has been playing the same character for sometime now, but it is working for him. The movie kept my intention and my kids loved the over the top non-stop action it provided.
